Sex Not Specified I've been only a couple of times, but I enjoyed it very much. The staff was very good. The food was good. Although I'm not able to drink very much anymore, the beer and wine selection was good. It is a great place to get away for a bit. - Jim R., USA

Sex Not Specified • Nice little place, certainly friendly...
• Too bright, not enough Irish music or Irish food.
• They have Boar's Head brand NYC cold cuts, so that's a plus. Haven’t seen any good crusty club rolls for sandwiches.
• I’ve tried a few “American” things on the menu …pretty good, w/fair prices.
• Would be nice if they figured out to put an Irish breakfast on the menu on the weekends. They won’t!
• Beer & wine license only; no Bailey’s Irish Cream & no decent Irish coffee, (Their version just doesn't cut it.)
• Atmosphere is the décor, certainly not music, food or employee knowledge/experience in Ireland. Not sure if any of them could find the ‘Old Sod on the map!
• Employees could dress better, i.e. maybe wear black pants, white shirt
• TV is always on! Not good, shut the damn thing off! (Big distraction, takes away from good conversation at the bar.)
• Irish music is generally taped & you have to beg them to put it on. That said, they occasionally have a good live entertainer, sometimes even Irish!

Sex Not Specified Nice atmosphere, quaint spot, but prices are far too high for what my group found to be very mundane, average, even boring food. Nothing special here. Service was spotty at best, mostly a long wait without explanation. To add insult to the high prices, food for eat-in customers is served in styrofoam throwaway containers (yes, even the soup!). This is inexcusable from almost any standpoint, whether aesthetic or environmental. I'll never go back. - Melanie, USA

Sex Not Specified Although small, it is very nice. The atmosphere is great and the floor to ceiling wall mural is fantastic. There are several COLD imports and microbrews available, along with draft beer which includes Guinness and Bass;the food is good also! Great place, don't overlook it, because it sits back in the corner beside Church Street Coffee & Deli and a pottery shop ! - Deb, USA
