Well, this place has really gone downhill since I was last there. There is almost no trace of the things I loved about it before. The music is fair, but nowhere near what it used to be when the other guy was playing there every week. The food is pricey and a bit snooty. Thankfully, Murphy's is just a few miles down the road, and they have the better choices! - S. Bourke, USA

Great pub, and they just added LIVE IRISH MUSIC on the weekends! The guy that plays there is phenomenal, and that just makes this the best pub in the area, now! (Even more so than before, that is) - Seamus, USA

Had a recent visit to this bar with a friend who lives in Virginia Beach. What a treat - it was so much more on the inside than I expected - she had a friend recommend it, and we found it to be as close to an Irish Pub as is served up in Dublin. We sat at the bar and the bartender introduced himself and made us feel just like we were part of the family - as we soon learned this was a family owned and run restaurant/pub and they do an excellent job. The food was terrific, generous portions, especially for reasonable prices - we had to take over half of our food home. And the beer selection is outstanding - a real half and half and a huge choice of draft ales, not just Miller and Bud. what a refreshing change for Virginia Beach. - Sherilyn, DC, USA

This reminds me of the great pubs in Europe, at least on the inside. It's so rare to find good authentic Irish beer, a real bar and friendly Barkeeps. And a menu that features a more traditional cuisine is stellar. This is a true gem among the “bars” one typically finds in Hampton Roads. - Jenn, USA

Excellent pub, great draft pints, very friendly and welcoming. Need to add a few less expensive entrees at dinner. Maybe a pub grub plate? - shore, usa
