Sex Not Specified This Pub is run by the most friendly Land Lady I have ever had the honour to meet. The Pub became a second home even in the short time I was in Cape Town (3 wks). I ate there most days and the food was top notch, the staff are gems, true testament to the way the Pub is run. I (a reformed smoker)never found the place smokie or dingie and the locals who use the place are friendly and inviting. Anyone who says different, must lack the most basic of social skills! - Patrick Bylthe, UK

Sex Not Specified The Royal Oak - best pub and lunchtime eatery in Table View, with great beer (5 on tap, including Guinness, cheapest around). Varied menu of freshly prepared food served daily, with weekly specials. Great atmosphere, lovely, friendly efficient bar girls. Same owners for 16 years,Linda and Robbie. Customers of all ages soon become friends, if it isn't your local now,it soon will be. Happy Regular - Amelia, South Africa

Sex Not Specified We've just returned from our recent trip to South Africa. We were invited to have Sunday lunch at The Royal Oak. The food was great. We found the pub to be a simple place run like a traditional English pub of old school days. The staff was extremely pleasant and service was quick. They had a lovely selection of South African wines. - Claude West, Canada

Sex Not Specified 1st time in the Oak for the last 2 years. Hasn't changed much since my last visit. Very dindgy & smokey. Nataly is still behind the bar & still looking well fit. Sunday lunch now R60 but had a much better one at Fergies pub round the corner. - Dave Beer, England
